The YD-08 is a lightweight, flexible, specially designed machine for melting binder (bitumen adhesive) so that reflective road studs can be applied and bonded firmly to the pavement. Firmly set studs greatly improve nighttime and wet-weather road guidance and safety.
It is built around four integrated systems — a melt-feeding system, a combustion system, an automatic temperature-control system, and a distance-measuring system. A 35 L material tank with 0–300°C automatic temperature control and auto ignition, heated by liquefied petroleum gas (4–5 kg bottle), lets you lay studs continuously; each run carries up to 40 studs.
Safety and handling are built in: flameout automatic protection with an audible alarm keeps operation secure, while the compact 50 kg frame (without gas bottle) is easy for a single operator to push and maneuver on site.
